This axial distraction takes the pressure off the spinal discs, which are gel-like cushions between the bones in your spine, by creating negative pressure in the disc. As a result, bulging or herniated discs may retract, taking pressure off nerves and other structures in your spine. This in turn, helps promote the movement of water, oxygen, and nutrient-rich fluid into the discs so they can heal.
Spinal decompression is typically done as part of a comprehensive rehabilitation program that includes other back pain treatments such as: chiropractic adjustments, trigger point therapy, regenerative care (shockwave) and/or nutrition therapy. Spinal decompression therapy is typically done over a series of sessions, and most people see relief after the first few treatments.
Whether it’s a new issue or a chronic condition, call today to schedule a consultation with our Doctor to determine if you are a candidate for great results with our axial distraction machine. If so, we will carefully tailor a treatment plan to guide you to a stronger and healthier life.
WHAT OUR PATIENTS ARE SAYING:
“This has absolutely changed my life.”
“I felt immediate improvement in my neck and my arm. I cold actually drop my arm without pain”.
“When I get off the machine, the pain is gone. I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. I’d take it home if I could”.
“I’ve been on other equipment before and it didn’t have the full range of capabilities necessary. The traction and sideways capabilities is exactly what I needed. It was very helpful.”
